Ryan Moore of Puyallup beat Nick Watney on the 19th hole to advance to the quarterfinals of the Match Play Championship.
Moore, seeded 48th in the field of 64, will face ninth-seeded Luke Donald of England in a match that starts at 8:10 a.m. PST Saturday. Moore has a 3-1 career record in the World Golf Championships event and Donald is 13-6.
The winner will face either American Matt Kuchar, seeded 13th, or South Korean Y.E. Yang, seeded 44th, in a semifinal match Saturday. The 18-hole final is set for 11:15 a.m. PST Sunday.
Previously, the semifinal and final rounds were to be played Sunday but tournament officials changed the schedule because of the threat of rain and snow at Dove Mountain on Sunday morning.

Moore ended his third-round match with a birdie putt from about 10 feet on the 19th hole. A 9-iron shot from 154 yards — with bushes blocking his view of the flag — set up the birdie.
Moore had six birdies, compared with nine for Watney, who was seeded 32nd and dropped to 4-2 in his Match Play Championship career.
"Oh, man, I'm exhausted," Moore said afterward. "It was one of those matches really nobody should have lost. We both played great all day long."
Moore and Watney were all square after 14 holes, but Moore made an eagle putt from slightly less than 39 feet after driving the green on No. 15 and birdied the next hole to go 2 up.
Watney extended the match with birdies on the 17th and 18th holes.
It was the lone third-round match lasting more than 18 holes.
In other quarterfinal matches Saturday, second-seeded Martin Kaymer of Germany plays 23rd-seeded Miguel Angel Jimenez of Spain and 19th-seeded Bubba Watson faces fellow American J.B. Holmes, the 22nd seed.
