"You need to show character to bounce back from setbacks like this, but I won't let it scar me. I'll come back bigger and stronger."
Not everyone was convinced he will find this crushing experience easy to shrug off. Lee Westwood said: "I have played with Rory a lot, when he gets under a bit of pressure he does have a pull hook in his bag."
