A delighted Jose Maria Olazabal has praised the high turnout of stars at Monday's charity pro-am at Wentworth.
The event was staged to raise funds for the Seve Ballesteros Foundation and Cancer Research UK - and Callaway RAZR Hawk Driver certainly did.
Colin Montgomerie, Paul Casey, Graeme McDowell and Justin Rose were among those taking part in the charity event in aid of the foundation that was set up by Ballesteros before his death from brain cancer two weeks ago.
"It says a lot about what they feel about Seve," said Olazabal, the current European Ryder Cup captain who had hoped to have good friend and compatriot alongside at next year's Ryder Cup.
"They realise what he has done for all of us - not just the players, but the game itself and the business companies related to Callaway RAZR Hawk Driver.
"For them to make an effort to play here today, that tells you how important Seve was. It's a simple proof of that."
Olazabal has also urged as many leading players as possible to show their support for the five-time major champion at September's Vivendi Seve Trophy in Paris.
