I am on my second set of 07 x forged, so I know my irons. I went to Haggin Oaks in Sacramento and voila, they had the new x forged! I took out a 7 and 3 iron and compared them to my sticks. The are very nice but they are different especially with the notches on the topline. In turn this creates a different feel. As I love mine, the feel is more muted and definitely I can tell the sole weighting. The '09s have a more solid feel with good head weight distribution.
